Light Show Dates & Times
The li runs nightly from the Saturday after Thanksgiving until January 1 - Sunday through Thursday from 4:30PM to 9PM, Friday and Saturday from 4:30PM to 10PM
Santa often comes to visit on Friday and Saturday nights - but we never know when he will make an official appearance since he gets pretty busy this time of year. Look up at the second story window to see if Santa is getting ready for his big day and checking his list to see who is naughty and nice!
There may be times when the light show is not running or sections of the may be out due to inclement weather. If there is rain in the forecast, the show may not be fully functional due to the wet conditions. we make every attempt to ensure the show is functioning at all times but as we all know, water and electricity do not mix very well. The electrical system is wired using GFCI outlets for safety and when something gets wet the system will automatically shut down to ensure safety to our guests and the equipment.
If the weather calls for a snowstorm, the light show may not run or be shut down early. We want our guests to be safe and do not want to encourage anyone to drive if it is advised to stay off the roads. Depending on the depth of the snow from a storm, some of the light show items may be covered or may not light for various reasons. We use a lot of LED lights which do not heat up to melt the snow.
We make every effort to update our Home Page when the weather is going to affect the show. If you are not sure, come back and check to see if there are any special announcements.
The lights in the show are programmed to our favorite Christmas music and broadcast using an FM transmitter to your car radio. When you arrive, tune your radio to 101.7FM and enjoy listening to the music from the comfort of your automobile. There will be signs by the road with the radio frequency if you forget.
If you decide to walk by the light show, there are speakers strategically placed in the yard so that you can still hear the music. However, the best audio will be from your car.
Our Christmas light show serves many purposes but our top three reasons are: We love doing it, the enjoyment of our neighborhood and guests, and to raise money for a charity. In 2016 we have decided to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
We hope to raise enough money to grant a wish to a child that is fighting life threatening diseases. There are three ways you can donate.
Click on the Make-A-Wish logo below. You will be redirected to our fundraising page setup by Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
Donate in person, there will be a candy cane close to the road.
On Friday and Saturday nights volunteers will be available to take your donations.
We thank everyone in advance for thier donations!
We know our guests donate their hard-earned money to a very good cause so all the money raised is donated directly to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. We do not keep any of the donations to cover the costs to put on this great show.
Light Show Etiquette
Many of our guests ask us how do your neighbors feel about the Christmas light show and the extra traffic. Our response is always positive to that question - Our neighbors love the display and support us in many ways. We want to make sure we continue receiving this support from our great neighbors so would like you to keep the following in mind when viewing the Christmas light show.
